Glenn Washington is the principal founder and owner of 1789 Group Inc.
Washington has held various progressively responsible management positions for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) spanning thirty-two plus years. His previous positions have includedCertified SupervisorCourse Developer/Instructor at the CBP Office of Field Operations Training Academy located in Glynco, Georgia. Additionally, he is a Certified CBP Field Training officer as well as a certified Federal Law Enforcement Instructor, Federal law Enforcement Training Center.
Mr. Washington previous positions include Supervisor-JKF Airport; Chief-San Juan International Airport, Supervisor- Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport; Chief-U.S. Virgin islands; and Assistant Area Port Director-U.S. Virgin Islands where he was responsible for three Ports of Entry covering Trade , Passenger, Immigration, Agriculture and Enforcement programs.
His international assignments extended beyond U.S. Borders where he served as Chief of Party for the U.S. CBP Advisory team to Trinidad and Tobago Customs and Excise. Other foreign assignments included Benin, Cote D’IVORIE, Nigeria, and the Caribbean.
